yeah, I luv the physicians formula's shimmer stripes Gel Cream Liner, I luv it once its set nothing will smear it, good and bad, because if you want to use it as a color base you have little time to play with it :l
but other than that, I luv this product <3

Like Antonio said the Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Gel Cream Liners are great. I much prefer Black Radience's Cream Liner's they are so smooth and have great pigmentation I haven't seem them recently but you can try Wal-mart or Walgreens :)

I swear by my MAC fluidline, but a few of my friends love their Maybelline gel eyeliner, so I'd give that a try :)

I absolutely love Loreals HIP Gel Liner! so creamy, does not crack throughout the day (stays on all day!) and best of all, drugstore product! :)

I have been using this gel liner for years now. It has many different colors,doesn't dry out, super pigmented and is waterproof. I actually bought the black one a few years ago and a month ago I bought 8 more colors and I enjoy every single one of them. Check out "10 pc eye liner gel combination", on EBAY. There you have all the colors. If you buy the 10 combo you also get a fantastic double-sided eyeliner brush.
So affordable, I know you asked for drugstore, but I just had to share this love find of mine ;)
I've seen good review of the oil free eyeliner gels from ebay too, they are saying it's exactly same like coastal scents. It has a foggy jar instead of the clear ones like I have. GOOD LUCK!

I personally hate the MAybelline gel liner. It drys out so quickly but I love Sonia Kasucks gel liner. Very comparable to macs fluidline and only 7.99 find it at target

I adore MAC gel eyeliner. It is slightly pricey but lasts FOREVER! Its so easy to apply and long lasting and pretty waterproof. Definitely worth every penny!

whoever finishes their gel liner before 3-6 months? well, if you use it religiously I'd say the mac eyeliner would be THE buy. Maybelline's cream liner is good. But it seems like there is a difference between gel and cream. but it does dry out before the 6 month shelf life.
