Face - Eyes = ?

Okay, so apparently people have differing opinions on whether or not you should do your eye makeup, but not your face makeup. But I was wondering what y'all thought about it the other way around? Doing your face makeup, but leaving your eyes completely bare?

Oh, and obviously I know there are no rules to makeup, I'm just wondering what y'all think about it.

I often wear a full face and leave my eyes bare or atleast only mascara on them.
But then when I say a full face - it is natural rather than caked if you know what I mean :)

I do only my face (tinted moisturizer and concealer) and some mascara on lazy days. It kind of makes me feel awake and refreshed without a lot of effort.

I used to do this on an everyday basis for work. I think it's more important to put foundation on over eyes. If your face isn't a flawless canvas (as carmindy says) then everything else is going to be sort of off. So, If I had to choose, I'd go with the face first.

On lazy days, i just wear foundation, concealer, eyeliner and mascara. i usually do put on some sort of shimmery eye product on even on lazy days - something like bare study paint pot.

I guess for me eyes are essential! I can't imagine doing my face but not my eyes, though that may partially be due to the fact that I have always had very clear skin so I prefer just a tinted moisturizer or moisturizer in the summer or when I'm in a rush. So crazy that I'm in the minority on this haha ;)

for me, i only use a thin line of eye liner but thick enough to be noticed, & tint my lips with pink lip balm, i only wear heavy eye make up when i have to attend a party, which ofc is like once a year or so for me, haha xD
