Does anyone have suggestions for dark under eye circles? No matter how much sleep I get I always look hung over or like I have been crying or have bad allergies or something... I'm sick of looking tired!

If it runs in the family then there is little help to be provided. I can say try a really good eye cream that lighten the eye area. Maybe Murad eye brightener which is about $80 or DDF brightening eye gel which is about $60. Also you might want to elevate the pillows that you sleep on at night since it may be an eye drainage issue causing the darkness. You can also use a good concealer but the first question would be do you wear foundation? If you wear foundation try going a shade or two lighter with your concealer to lighten up the under eye area. You can also use a illuminator to reflect the light away from the under eye area and essentially brighten it up. I like Jet Lag by CARGO because it brightens the under eye area and has added ingredients to help with the dark circles. If that is not enough coverage I also like Dermablend smooth indulgence concealer. Full coverage without the creasing. Hope that helps and good luck!!!

Sadly... it runs in the family... I've tried concealers and didn't have much luck, I also have a lot of freckles and hyper pigmentation so its hard to find a foundation that works well for me... grrr! Anyhow thought I would be nice to see what other's have tried. I'll start looking into some of the creams, Thanks!

I have the same problem, since I can remember I always had dark circles.. no matter what I put on they didn't go away. The two products I use that help A LOT are, YSL Touché Eclait, and Lise Watier Portfolio Corrector Wheel.

I'll say try the dermablend concealer...it is surgical makeup i.e scarring, port wine stains, etc. It might give you the coverage you need.

Tiffani, that is the bane of my existence. No matter what I do I always have under eye circles. I can actually go without foundation but certainly not without concealer. What works for me is Laura Geller's The Real Deal concealer. This stuff is amazing. It completely hides those circles and stays put too (which is why I nearly gave up on concealers because anything I used ended up fading or moving). Before I started using this concealer I'd have to really work at hiding that area and refer to my color wheel. Like if my circles are very blue, I see that the opposite of blue on my color wheel is ranges between yellow and orange (depending on how blue those circles are that day) and I would take some matte eye shadow and a fluffy brush and apply that between thin layers of concealer to help conceal that area.
Hope you find a solution that is perfect for you.

Thanks for everyone's advice.. I actually went to Sephora (my fav!) and picked up some of the YSL Touché Eclait and I'm playing with that... the woman told me tea bags, using cool water to wash the face and also to pat around the outer eye and swipe down towards the inner eye will help a bit since the blood pools there. We'll see how that goes for now... I think I might give the Real Deal a try as well.

ROC under eye treatment was recommended to me by a consultant at ULTA. It helps when I remember to use it.

If your looking for something like a concealer or some kind of cosmetic, then i can relate and help. I have dark circles in my inner eye area and my under eye. They are considered to be blue undertones, So thee best concealer ive ever used that completely gets rid of the visibility is Benefits Erase Paste. I recommend using your finger or a Sigmax Precision brush!
I use my finger and basically i place it where i want it then use patting motions to blend it out! I then use my Multi-Tasking brush from Bare Minerals and buff out any harsh lines, and set it with either a Translucent powder (Kryolan) or my Maybelline setting powder.and WahLah dark circles are completely gone! Its amazing! I also recommend that first you prime your eyes with Benefits Stay Dont Stray and then apply Erase Paste it will keep it lasting longer!
Hope this helps!

I use a mineral concealer that is a shade lighter and use it only under and around my eyes... I also use clinique "sugar sugar" and lightly apply under my eyes to have a little glow.

I always struggle covering up my panda eyes, but one product that I cant live without is the Bobbi Brown correcter. If you do not already know, Bobbi Brown sell both correctors and concealers, correctors are used to neutralise out the darkness and adds brightness. the correcter is supposed to be used along with their concealer, but I use it alone as I find that it is perfect without too. They do crease however, and a little goes a long way so although it is costly, it should last you a few months
hope this helped!

I would suggest adding a brightening eye cream to your daily skin regime. I have dark circles as well and mine are hereditary. Use one before night and also in the morning when you wake up.
Another suggestion is to use Covergirl & Olay Simply Ageless Eye Corrector (Not the concealer, although it is sold next to the concealer and in the same packaging) It's a pretty decent product, in a drugstore line that is. Make sure you apply your concealer/corrector under the eye area as well as in an upside down triangle shape. It really helps. (Kandee Johnson has videos on You Tube of this if you need a reference)
Another recommendation is to highlight the inner tearduct area to draw some attention away from the dark circles. You could also try a salmon colored concealer.
Also Physician's Formula sells a specific product called an eye brightener. I bought mine a while ago so I'm not quite sure if they still have it on shelves in the drug stores, but you may be able to find it online on their site or maybe something like Cherry Culture. It's basically a white shimmer sort of powder with blue speckles in it, it's hard to explain, and you put a teeny bit under the eye area. The idea is that it catches the lighting. =)
Hope some of this helped! I suffer too, and I feel your pain!

cover em up with kat von d tattoo concealer ! lol
whenever i wear it ppl think i have perfect skin but really it's just amazing concealer.
a way to actually try and get rid of them is taking tea bags, like after you drink the tea..and place them on ur eyes when theyre warm. The caffine helps get rid of them..cheaper than that garneir under eye roller

Hey, I don't know a whole lot about curing under eye circles -- BUT I have circles around my eyes naturally, like as in brown panda eyes if I don't wear makeup!! Sexy. Anyway, usually I end up packing on a few different concealers but a month or so ago tried the Milan HD Advanced Concealer. This stuff is GREAT!! It seriously covers, and brightens AND is affordable. And it's super liquid and won't cake at all. I put Benefit Powderflage over this and I am set for the whole day. Highly recommend a try!

I highly recommend you use a vitamin c serum for this, it fixed my under eye circles :) I found an awesome lady on youtube and she has a video explaining how to make your own serum, her name is nigella4me. hope this helps you as much as it did for me

I love touch eclat, so glad you have invested in that. My other suggestion though is to apply Laura Mercier under eye colour correcter prior to your touche eclat. My newest video features this correcter so check it out. Its pink in colour but works wonders on dark circles!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxTQsFukRrg

I've actually tried everything, everyone listed here! But I will give this YouTube suggestion a try, I have $1000 worth of under eye products and everything was a waste and I refuse to clog my pores with make up!
