girll!!! i feeeeelll your pain!!! my advise.. ge the keratin treatment done! its amaziiinggggg..! it leaves your hair 99 percent frizz free.. whats more important is that it doesnt "straighten" your hair it just loosens up the curls, and defrizzes them! i still have to straighten my hair but what took me 2 hours now takes me 22 minutes with blow dry and flat iron! if you choose not to pass the iron through it, just wash it and put some argon oil in it and go!! i rally recommend the keratin! im actually going back to get it redone on tuesday! I know its a little pricey but lets just say u go to the salon to get ur hair straightened every month and for hair like ours thats seriously curly they charge 30-70 dollars depending on the salon.. the keratin treatment runs all the way up to 250 dollars.. i get mine done for 100. Imnot sure of the prices by u but in the long run you save money on hair products, leave-in treatments, and salon visits.. the treatment usually lasts 3-4 months and the more damaged your hair is the better it works.. im telling you my hair is defrizzed and my split ends are barely there.. its great!
hope this helps!

If you haven't already you should check out naturallycurly.com, it should give you lots of help on caring for and styling your specific type of curls. My advice is to stop trying to straighten your hair and learn to work with it the way it naturally is. My mom started relaxing my hair when I was 3. I decided to stop and grow it out when I was 17, and it's the best thing I've done for my hair. I found out that my natural hair is amazing and there's tons that I can do with it. I probably flat iron my hair once every 3 months. It's so freeing to give up on the never ending struggle of having the hair you weren't born with. But, if you are super determined to get straighter hair, I do understand. :)

oh yay, i love when curly girls go natural, try the la bella styling gel, i comb it through my hair when it's wet and then scrunch my hair and it keeps it tame and shows off my curls without my hair feeling stiff like most gels make it

ive been wearing my hair naturally curly for about a month now, and basically all i use is a defrizzing serum, and mousse while its wet. (i suggest the chi silk infusion serum and herbal essences totally twisted mousse) also, for in the shower you can use the aussie three minute miracle to keep your hair hydrated so your curls wont be as frizzy or dry.

I have curly hair too, and with the new move I lost my straightener and have been dealing with the curls. I tried a lot of shampoos n junk to try and control it. My sister suggested I go cheap and try the new suave define curls shampoo, conditioner, etc. It works amazing. Gives my curls the perfect bounce, and makes them look as if I had curled them with a curling iron insread of a frizzy rats nest.

I've used the Organix and it cuts straighting time in half. They have at Ulta and I think I've seen it at Walmart for about $13
