Hey, I was just wondering if people would recommend the Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette or the new Book of Shadows? I'd love to get both but as a broke college student I can only afford one!

I want the anniversary palette so bad. Im not so excite about the other new palette. The packageing is always amazing!

I would recommend the 15th Anniversary palette. The colors are gorgeous and the packaging is sleek. Although the colors on the book of shadows palettes are very nice as well, I personally don't care for the fuss on the packaging. The product itself on either one is great thoough.

I don't own either of them, but if I had to pick one, it'd be the 15th Anniversary palette.

I have both and I prefer the anniversary palette myself. More interesting colours and the packaging isn't so bulky!

It depends what you like. The new book of shadows has a lot of muted autumn colours, whereas the 15th anniversary palette has a mix of brights and neutrals :) I want the 15th anniversary palette because of the brights :D

I'm going to agree with Jennifer. I saw it instore yesterday (I don't own it, but if the shadow quality is anything like the Naked palette, that's not anything to worry about) and the shades are gorgeous.
I think the frou-frou around the packaging is unnecessary (when you have a quality product, why do you need to invest so much in something like packaging?), but oh well.
I'll probably get it eventually...

Thanks for all your comments gals, I got it for Christmas and i'm so happy with it! The quality of the shadows are incredible and I love all the colours =] Its sorta annoying how the case picks up all the fingerprints but I was really impressed with the size of the mirror inside the lid!
