Extension confusion.

I've been wanting extensions for WAY TOO long and I'm finally going to get some!! However, I've been looking at so many brands that I'm confused at what I should get.

I narrowed it down to :
Lord and cliff
Luxy hair extensions
Foxy Hair Extensions

I'm only interested in clip ins....because everything else is just too complicated for me!

Any suggestions?

Just make sure its 100% human hair and not synthetic or a synthetic blend. If you want them to last for a while with no hassle.

I agree with Keshonta B. Also make sure you know what length you want typically people get 16inches or 18inches :)

I don't have experience with any of the ones you listed, but I have been using Remy 100% human hair extensions for six years, and they have worked fantastic for me! One set usually stays looking good for a year to a year and a half for me, even though I dye/style them. It's all in how you care for your extensions! Remy ones usually cost around 100$ at Sally's for the longest length. Regardless of what brand you choose, if you haven't done so yet, I would watch luxyhair's tutorial on how to care for them! :)

Thanks Keshonta! According to the Luxy site , their extensions are 100% Remy Human Hair. I'm guessing this is good hair.

@Melissa, the luxy one is 20 inches, that's the only size they have; thanks for your input! :)

@Savannah I dont like what i've seen at sally's - however Idk if its because the sally's here is sooo tiny, I dont think they have a good selection because all i remember seeing is synthetic hair. I will for sure look at the luxy hair tut vid on how to care for the extensions! Thank you!

Hey Binks - check out NuMe Styles Clip In Hair extensions. They come in 7 pieces and are made with 100% Remy Human hair. They are awesome and come in 16 and 18 inches. Mine blend in with my hair so beautifully and they are soo easy to clip in and take out... plus they stay in very well so they are secure!

binks im in the same boat as you ive been looking and watching all the vids and reviews im thinking ima gonna get the headkandy ones in probably the 24 - 26in ive heard the least amount of complaining about them and you get a massive amount of hair

I had forgotten about head kandy! I don't want mine to be that long but I ended up going with the Luxy hair extensions because not only do they have a lot of TUTS but I liked their dark brown color! And $140 for 20 inches for remy hair isn't bad at all! Hopefully the color isn't different from mine. If you get the head kandy lmk how they work out, for the sake of my next buy of extensions.

It's cheaper to create your own.

What do you mean? Buying the hair and sowing on the clips? Because I tried this and it was the worst experience of life lol

Binks - I've been wearing extensions for years, like others said, definitely go for Remy.. but IMO out of ALL the brands I have tried and I've tried tons... HeadKandy and HelloGorgeous are by far the best.. Headkandy is cheaper and ships faster (200$) - Hello Gorgeous take forever and a day to receive because the lady actually makes them by hand on a order to order basis but they are EXTREMELY thick but they are about 300$ though they have special sales where you can get them for 180 or 200 I think. I've also heard Sally's does have great extensions that are Remy human hair for about 90$.

Ps I've heard that have bought Luxy because of all the hype were not that satisfied with what they received, I've personally never tried them but I've seen reviews where people just said they were not nearly as thick or nice as they were expecting.. Foxylocks I don't know much about in terms of quality.. I hope that helps you. Just do a lot of research before you make a decision, and if you have any questions feel free to ask me, bc like I said, I've been wearing them for years

@ Rai C, I guess the clips I got were not very good and I ended up spending like 200+ on freaking 10 inch hair and clips that were good for nothing .....mind you this was "remy" hair and I got this all at a "prestigious" beauty supply store so it wasn't something that didn't work because it was at a rinky dink place, it's just im guessing the clips and hair were crap. One of the hair strands randomly snapped off while i was at the mall. Enough said. lol.

@Allison aww man! I already ordered luxy, after much thought and looking at their testimonials and ( not endorsed ) reviews I decided to go with them. I just can't afford to spend the extra bucks right now but I will be getting a 14 inch from head kandy sometime in the near future hopefully! I don't like the sally extensions, IDK why people like them, the remy ones I got there (after paying 150 for a piece of crap at the other beauty supply store) made me sad because after about 2 months the "100% human" hair was dry and brittle! I even bought the shampoo and conditioner to maintain it!
I will definitely go to you next time I want to get extensions. Thank you for your feedback !! Is that your natural hair in your picture? Because it looks like it!

No, those are my HK and Hello Gorgeous extensions! that sucks that you already ordered but it's okay hopefully they've stepped it up and yours will be great! but def, look into the ones I mentioned in the near future :)

Thanks for the positive words Allison! lol!!!! <3
