Okay, usually people are always asking me make-up and hair advice, this time I need the advice LOL! So I have sensitive skin. I know everyone's skin is different. I get minor breakouts, but I feel like the lotion & facial cleaner I use doesn't help really clear my face. I need something that will give it that "glow" feeling & keep it moisturized. So what are YOUR thoughts?

I have the same kind of problem. With the acne! Nothing really seems to help! What I do is wash my face :L that's the only thing that helps me

Yeah I'm the same way....I even tried Proactive & it only helped a little bit--not much. I wonder if Skin ID works. Has anyone tried it?

Idk, one thing I was looking into—because I saw it on a video and I've heard good things about tea tree oil, I even used it for my hair and it's amazing!—is a face package thing which is all tea tree for acne. Its got a moisturizer(just says lotion on the site but whatever), a toner, facial wash, and a little thing of tea tree oil. http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P283518&shouldPaginate=true&categoryId=6007

Tea tree oil is horrible for sensative skin...actually it has to be extremely diluted on normal skin. And be careful because even highly diluted amounts are still used as a household cleaners...not face washes. Don't get me wrong, I love the oil...its excellent for skin irritations caused by fungus as it burns the skin (the fungi on the skin) and kills anything in sight. Also it has a horrible lingering order that I'm not sure you'd want to put on your face. If you want a glow on your skin I would suggest you simple use an exfoliant 2-3x's a week. Not one of those jojoba bead face washes, a real scub that will slough off the dead layer of skin to reveal the glowing, soft, subtle layer underneath. If money allows I would suggest you purchase a clarisonic or a revolve from DDF (I like my revolve the most since it also does dermabrasions a.k.a exfoliants)...if you're really on a budget Olay has one for 30 bucks but I can't say it spins fast enough or last as long as the other two without breaking down. Any one of these cleansing tools will not only exfoliate the skin on a daily basis but it will also clean deep down in the pore. As for a moisturized, you might want to try looking for a gel moisturizer, the soak into the skin better and do not leave a residue on the surface giving you the hydration you need without leaving the oil you don't need...I like DDF Ultra-Lite Moisturizing Dew but I'm just mentioning this one because you said you have sensative skin and this is designed for that. There is also Make A Difference Gel from Origins if you're looking for something natural.
Lastly, when combating ance there is a list of ingredients you should always look for which are Salicylic acid (this is the staple one) in a 1.5% or higher (this cleans out the oil from the pore. Glycolic Acid (this is a natural exfoliant that reduces pore size as well) and benzoyl peroxide which kill bacteria filled pimples. Proactive never works in the long run because it only contains benzoyl peroxide which just kills the pimples but eventually they come back because ance is constant and you constantly have to exfoliate and flush out the pore. As long as you have oilier skin and medium to large pores you will have the issue of ance to combat. I hope this helps and if it doesn't I have some skin care videos that might answer your questions a little better...I should also have a couple that goes into the products I use to control my acne.

I have sensitive skin and used proactive for years until it started having a reverse effect on me. With a lot of searching I finally came across LUSH face products. I really recommend Celestial for a moisturizer. As for cleansers I use Ocean Salt and Angels on Bare skin. Ocean salt helps keep the breakouts at bay and Angels really gives me that glowing look.
You can check out their face line at www.lushusa.com they are also pretty affordable especially if you have a store around where you live. I have reviews for all of these products on my blog as well.

Do you have oily or dry skin? I have oily, acne prone skin and have decided to try organic / more natural products on my skin. Check out www.aubrey-organics.com and www.naturisimo.com.

Hey lovelies :)
Having a problem with acne?
I suffered with acne for around 6 years, fluctuating throughout being mild and severe. It is finally under control through the use of benzoyl peroxide.
I have a detailed post on my blog
