SO. I'm getting ready to Black Swan it up this weekend!

What are your suggestions for Black Swan makeup? Which is the best one you've seen? Do you have tips on how to apply such dramatic makeup? Thanks guys! :)

My suggestion is to watch the movie if you can because the makeup done in the movie is a bit different then the cover of the dvd. I think out of all the tutorials out there that Jessica Harlow's is the best.

The trick to the makeup, in the movie, it's not pure white like on the cover, it's just very very pale so a porcelain foundation set with white powder would work much better than a white cream foundation set with white powder.

As a makeup lover, I just had to try it out! Did it really quickly just now, check out my profile photo.

I'm not a pale girl, so I just used a lighter powder than usual to get that pale look instead of white foundation.

Foundation: MAC Studio Stick in NC42, NC44
Powder: MAC Studio Fix in NC30
Blush: MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Flirt & Tease
Bronzer: Milani Baked Bronzer in Golden
Eye Liner: MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack and elf Liquid Eyeliner
Eye shadow: MAC, Rondelle and Brill
Lip Liner: MAC Lip Pencil in Brick
Lip Stick: MAC Viva Glam IV and Del Rio

I didn't want to use a base or mascara, just because it was a quick application and I wanted to be able to take it off really fast. I've also got really sensitive skin, and the less makeup, the better. Now that I've caked it all on, it actually looks like I don't need mascara. It photographs well enough, but if I'm going dancing (haha) and whatnot, I might have to put down a primer.

Let me know what you think!
