So we all have those techniques or colors we used that we've grown out of...or not. Take me, for instance. As I grew up in a Mexican-American suburb in LA, Jackie Rodriguez taught me how to apply my mascara: Maybelline Great Lash, four coats, separate with a sharp safety pin. I've changed mascaras a thousand times but I still have that safety pin. I also still burn my Maybelline little red liners. What's YOUR tacky throwback?
