Have you ever gotten a hair cut, loved it, and 4 months later just want to chop your hair off with nail scissors?
I've got my hair cut the way i like it now but I'm just bored with it, its short just above my shoulders asymmetrical, brown with a red tint and I just cant think of anything to do with it, its been colored almost every color you think of, I've put in streaks (purple, green, blue) dyed my whole head red, chopped it, permed it (not in that order) and I'm just bored with it. So have you ever felt that way about your hair and if so what do you do to change it up? And do you have any advice on what I should do before I just throw in the towel and dye it a dark brown?

I am having that right now. Kind of tired of the same ol same ol length an syle.. Then the color. I decided to cut bangs into my hair to change it because I never had bangs before. Maybe you can try that? I was tired of my black/red hair so I went with Pink, Blue,Purple, turquoise in my hair.. Talk about a lot of color. You can try to just start to style it different maybe that would make you not bored of the cut

Have you thought about trying a whole new cut? Maybe try a shorter cut or extensions.

Try random highlights in your hair or steaks...That way you can style your hair to one side and it might look different because of the color placement. Or clip in hair/feather extensions, its a cheap and easy way to change up length and color without having to commit. Also adding new hair accessories like bows and headbands can really add some pretty color to Your do! Hope this helps :)

Hey Cassidy, have you thought about getting swept-away in a vintage-inspired look while you're dealing with the "Great-Hair-Debat?" I'm Obsessed with 40's-Glam right now, and it might be a fun distraction to get a few "era-appropriate" accessories - try a few "finger-waves" or "side-rolls" with your existing hair - the new look may feel totally invigorating, and be just the inspiration you need to help you figure-out your next Cut/Color decision. Extensions helped me through a similar hair rut, I would suggest the clip in kind so it doesn't damage your hair if you plan on growing it out. The extensions gave me more options, one day I could have my a-line the next day long hair! I would also suggest getting human hair ones so in case you dye your hair a lot you can at least dye your extensions too!

Look through different styles, print or cut out the ones you like and show them to your hairdresser. Good hairdressers will give you advice on a haircut for your face shape and style :)

how about getting feather extensions? You can always change them out when you get bored :)

I want thin caramel highlights and layers that frame my face. But I really don't want to go through another hair horror story! You should post a picture of your hair so we can get a visual :)

I've been in a hair rut since I had to shave in my head in January...It's painful having to grow it out again. Although, now I have a goal hair style which I should be able to have within 6 months.
