The amount of chemicals we put on our skin everyday is astonishing! Why not treat your skin to some lovely natural skincare recipes?
How about a homemade invigorating ginger and lime body salt scrub?
http://www.bebeautifulblog.org/2011/06/diy-invigorating-lime-and-ginger-salt.html
Or some refreshing sweet potato and honey eye parcels?
http://www.bebeautifulblog.org/2011/06/sweet-potato-and-honey-eye-parcels.html
OR instead of buying expensive pore strips to get rid of blackheads, oil and sebum why not try making your own?

I'm a huge fan of natural beuaty recipes so if anyone has any recipes they'd like to share I'd love to hear them!

I'm going to try out all of these! Thanks! :D
I've tried the pore strips before, and they seem to work great at first, but I can never peel them off right. Do you have any tips for that?
I love to take "brine baths." Pop a couple bags of plain green tea in the tub as you're filling it. Then use small amounts of sea salt to exfoliate, and finish with a mask mix of seaweed and honey.

Sweet, thanks! I have this huge aloe plant, and since I'm not dating a glassblower anymore (burns every other day... they're out of their minds!), I never know what to do with it!

Just seen your question up there btw ^ sorry i forgot to reply! With pore strips and peel off face masks the trick is to leave them on longer than the packet says. I usually leave a peel off mask on for 30 minutes and go about doing things around the house. With pore strips I leave them for a good 15-20 mins. I actually make my own now though and they take 30. If you fancy having a look you can find them here :)

I don't really use recipes, just natural ingredients. I like to soak oats in hot water and then grab a handful and squeeze the extract on to my face. Oat extract really helps with redness.

I moved from CA to Seattle after High School, and my naturally almost white-blonde hair started to get more gold colored. I missed my natural platinum high lights so I got them back.
1 cup of water
1 cup Lemon Juice
3 Cups Chamomile Tea (brewed and then left to cool)
1 tbs honey
Spritz over your hair and blow dry. The sun works better but the hair dryer works fine too. I usually rinse my hair out afterward. I know this works on brunettes as well, but I'm not sure how dark...
I haven't been doing this since I dyed half my hair black, but as soon as I'm back to all-blonde I'm starting again.
