My boyfriend LOVES a smokey eye with a nude lip... He compliments me more (it seems) when I have a fresh face with maybe a winged liner and a cute pink lip. He HATES red lips.. only cause that's when I wanna kiss him most ;) hahaha

my boyfriend either likes me with no makeup or with crazy colors lol. Everytime I wear a natural look for work, or when I want to wear makeup but I'm not feeling creative, he kinda just looks at my makeup but doesn't say anything. If i look dead, suddenly I'm cute lol. But if I wear bright colors, its awesome and pretty. Guys... I'll never understand them :D

My boyfriend honestly would prefer that I did not wake up a complete hour and a half before him, to steal away the bathroom before I head out to work -- simply to put on makeup. Lol. He'd prefer natural, but at times the smokey eyes, or my love of eyeshadows in purple or brown, he compliments on the regular -- but he does avoid attempting to kiss me in any sort of way when I have lipgloss, or brightly colored lipstick on, like most males.
He honestly just hates that it takes me forever to get ready to go! I can't help it, lol.

My boyfriend is just now starting to really get into the different kinds of makeup I do (especially after Halloween) so he loves anything from natural to crazy and bold and bright. Bless his little heart for watching so many makeup videos with me even though all he was interested in were the gory ones LOL. Now he's absolutely fascinated when I put on makeup so he'll prop a big mirror up in the living room for me so he can watch and I walk him through what I'm doing. The only thing he's not crazy about is any kind of bold lip because he doesn't like not being able to give me kisses.

My ex liked 2 extremes... Either no/minimal makeup or dark smokey eyes. He liked my natural wavy hair & no makeup look, but also liked how my eyes contrasted with my blonde hair when i do a smokey eye. The one thing he and most other guys I've dated couldn't stand: lipstick and lipgloss. He wouldn't kiss me if I had it on and now that I'm single i've noticed myself loading up on the gloss and bright lipsticks!

My husband prefers me best with not a drop of make-up at all. If I do wear make-up he responds best with more subtle looks. When I would doll my face all up; fake eyelashes, red lipstick and I would ask him, "How do I look?" He would respond, "Uh ok, but I like you better without all that make-up on." It really used to upset me because here I am putting in all this time and work in trying to look nice. Now he understands how passionate I am about cosmetics and the application process so he compliments me in regards to my talent but prefers me fresh-faced. I guess I'll keep him. =)

He ALWAYS compliments me when I have a very natural look; skin-toned eyeshadow, soft tint of bronzer, and mositurized bare lips. He doesn't mind different colored eyeshadows as long as they are not too bright. He knows that application is everything. I can say that he really despises lipstick, especially reds. He calls it "tacky".

My husband seems to like it best when i go as natural as possible like just so mascara and a little bit of blush any other time he doesnt get why i wear makeup but hes a guy!! He does compliment me when i do a smokey eye and he hates when i wear anything on my lips sooo i save all those for when im at the store or at work without him lol

the "no makeup look". seriously the less the better. and the less I wear the more compliments I get from him. When I cake it on or have a bunch of dramatic makeup on he can tell and he'll be like "wow, you're wearing a lot of makeup" which makes me all like "ugh..."

my boyfriend doesn't like foundation, he likes me with tinted moisturizer. he says I don't do enough eyeliner looks, he likes the fantasy inspired eyeliner shapes. also instead of lining my upper lash line, he informed me dots would be way cooler. (I agree!) he likes colorful smokey looks containing purples, greens, silvers, and black. one thing he really hates though, it lipstick. he says he thinks all women look weird with lipstick on, he prefers chap stick or sheer gloss. his favorite is Victoria's secret in strawberry fizz. I asked him if he minded the stickiness, he said he doesn't care, he loves the taste! haha!
