Next week I am getting my senior portraits done and wanted advice on what I should wear makeup wise. What do you guys think? I ask planning on wearing this look(next post). Now I just need to figure out how I should do my hair? Curly Natural or straigh? What do you guys think?
Thanks for the help!

Your makeup in that picture is gorgeous.. and you have the prettiest eyes ever! I'm jealous! Your hair looks great straight.. but I always like wavier or curlier hair! Just a preference, I just hate my straight hair! I know loads of people love straight hair, though. Just wear it how you normally wear it or how you like your hair best! The makeup looks great, though! :D

Oh my gosh, that picture is gorgeous! You're so pretty! For senior pictures I would recommend going with whatever way your hair naturally is, just make it look more polished (if your hair is straight run the straightener through, if it's curly just define the curls a bit more).

That picture of you is beautiful, your eyes are stunning. I agree with keeping your hair as close to natural as possible in pictures, but just fix it up a bit.

@Mandy K. Tell me about it!! Haha! My grad photo was in 1997 and I shaved my head before the photos were taken and my eyebrows were a thin line!!
Your makeup looks fantastic, do it!

OMG... my yearbook photos were awful. I actually cringe at the thought of it.
You, however, have got it right! I completely agree w/ Mandy! If only I had known how to do what I do today, I wouldn't have this gut-wrenching feeling that those yearbook photos will surface at a reunion and I would be called out on my photos. Haha... oh, well. At least it builds character, and a good backstory if you have one when there's a bad picture. =P

@ Soma S. hahaha same here! I hate my yearbook pictures, just ew no. I always get photographers that yell at me to get into ridiculous poses, horrible ^_^
anyways, Kassie, your makeup looks gorgeous! and you have the prettiest eyes eveeeeer! I would say curl your hair, it looks super girly and In my opinion super glamourous ! But you're hair looks awesome straight as well :)

The picture is gorgeous, first of all! :O I would definitely go with that look, but I *would* suggest doing it just a tiny bit more natural looking -- maybe less mascara and eyeliner. For a yearbook picture you want something to enhance your natural features but not to alter them or create something too dramatically different from what you looked like every day for the past four years -- you want to stand out, but not as the girl that's wearing a ton of makeup, you know? As for your hair, I actually really like the way you did it in the picture -- but I think that soft curls would be a great girly alternative. It'll make the picture look a bit more "gentle." Good luck, and let us know what you decide on! <3

@Keren: Haha that is what i have looked liked for most of higschool. I was never really the girl to go for the "natural look" unless I am feeling very lazy in the morning. Lol
All your guys's suggestions were amazing! I am going to keep it natural, just shaping my curls with my iron. You guys helped so much, thank you!!!!!!!
@Soma: Yeah I know what you mean, my yearbook pictures thus far have been gawd aweful! Freshman year I had crazy frizy hair, sophomore year i looked like a weird emo chick and junior year I looked to "posed" they made me sit weird haha.

Turned out great! I love your makeup look. I'm getting mine done soon too and I'm freaking out. I have to make sure my hair is definitely humidity proof because we are doing outside photos too. Ahhh!

I used to cringe when I looked at my old yearbook pic. No makeup, no styling to my long hair, no jewelry... but years later I realized something- what I had on... a tan (from swimming and water polo), my natural dirty blode hair, and a real smile- was probably the best pic I could have taken.
I think you should go with whatever your daily look is. I like being able to look back and remember who I really was at that time and think about how I've grown over the years. I was embarassed then (compared to the made-up "pretty girls") but now I'm proud. Just be yourself!
You should see my sister's pic from the 80's... a wave of hair sprayed three inches tall... it was soooo cooool but good gawd if was awful.
