I'm just curious because I don't really want to spend like $20 on two faced shadow insurance or urban decay primer potion..

The $1 is really bad in my opinion. There's mixed reviews about it, so it wouldn't hurt to try it out. You might actually like it. It's just $1 so there's nothing to lose! :) However, I've heard good things about the $3 one, i have yet to try it though.

The elf mineral eye primer is better then the regular one in my opinion, but the regular one isn't so bad either.

It's alright for the price. I use it when I run out of my primer potion because it is better than having no primer at all. I think spending the money on the urban decay primer potion is worth it though, it's the best primer I've ever used!

I think the $1 one does the job for the money but like with most things you get what you pay for but it worth the $1.

I like the dollar primer from elf- it works just fine for me!

It does pretty well in terms of making your eyeshadow last longer, but that's about it.
It's an extremely good primer in terms of "bang for your buck" but when I'm working with brights, I'm a huge fan of Too-Faced Shadow insurance because it does help with blendability and color vibrancy!

I love it. It works well for me. I was skeptical at first cause it was a dollar but worth it!

Chrisanne D. - Go to Nordstrom Rack, they sell a full size of Urban Decay Primer Potion for around $8 +tax. As far as the Elf primer, you get what you pay for! imo...

The ELF primers works well for just a few hours. If you want something that's going to last all day I would probably go for the UD Primer Potion or another high end primer. :)

I use the $3 one but I use the white more than the other side just to highlight my brow and underneath my eyelids, but I actually use the Urban Decay one on my lid. It's just better and you really don't need a lot of it. Just a tiny dab of it is enough for the lid and even for the other lid as well so you're really saving the product but getting the most use out of it.

I dont like it at all, but my lids are really really oily.

The $1 one did NOT work for me at all. I haven't tried any other though. If you have really oily skin and touch ur face a lot, it will melt off your eyelids. 😔

It doesnt make your colorful eyeshadows pop , but it definitely helps them last

I use the $1. It's the only eyelid primer I use. I use a Nyx jumbo eye pencil to layer on top to make my colors come out much vibrant though. =]
