how do you pick the preview picture on a youtube video?

When I upload a vid to youtube, it only ever gives me 3 randomly chosen slides to choose from as the main picture of the video. How do you choose a custom slide? thanks!

Or, you can put the picture you want to be the thumbnail and put it right in the middle of the video for a second or too. If its in the middle precisley then that will come up with your choices. :)

Quite a few people also place a photo at the end for about 1/3 of the total time of the video. So if they video is 9 minutes, the last 3 minutes is of the photo.

For youtube they usually pull 3 images, one from the beginning, one from the middle and one from the end. The only way you get to have a custom thumbnail is if you're a partner. Although on beautylish, if you upload here you have 24 to choose from. It's really cool.
