I have been trying to find a good primer that isnt too expensive, (around 8.00) I currently dont use a face primer, what would be best? how about an Eye Primer?

Well I'm currently using a face primer from 17, but if you don't live in the UK, you wont be able to get it. And as for an eye primer, i've heard the ELF mineral one is pretty good, and it's super cheap :) x

i use the hard candy sheer envy illuminating primer. works well. for eyes i have tried the hard candy one and didnt like it so i shelled out the 18 for too faced shadow insurance. I used to use the loreal de-crease but i hated the packaging...i have a small amount left in the bottom of the bottle that i can not for the life of me get out.

I use the e.l.f. mineral infused face primer, and it makes my makeup go on a lot smoother :)
The e.l.f. mineral eye primer is decent, but it can't be compared to the likes of MAC paint pots and UDPP. But I'm sure no one is expecting them to be that good either. I guess sometimes you really do get what you pay for ;)

i've been using nyx's studio perfect primer in green. i don't notice it help much of my redness, but i love it as a primer itself (i also bought it in clear). it is about $12, but my tube has lasted me quite the awhile (i still have 3 more on hand).
*i don't know if you consider nyx "drugstore" or not but i think their prices are pretty decent. & i don't know if you can find this at an ulta (i can't at mine yet).
victora,; i recently saw this on "depotting" UDPP, & i'm wondering if this method will help you (i don't know what the packaging for that item looks like). but here it is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N98q179jL8U

The "best" face primer is going to depend on your skintype and what works best for you. You need to trial-and-error. As for eye primer, the only one I've used is UDPP.
@Ashley H: UDPP comes two ways now. Earlier this year, it was released in tube format. But the most famous packaging is the original "genie bottle". However, Victoria was referring to the L'Oreal eye primer in regards to getting product out, not UDPP.

@shelly, i know it wasn't udpp she was talking about, but it was the method of getting it out in that video i was recommending to her to try with her l'oreal primer.

i like to keep rimmel fix & perfect on hand as a primer & i also use it if i only have a few minutes, i just throw some on my face for a bit of color. i've seen issues where girls say it's horrible on them & make them orange. others say it has no color effect on their skin so it's sort of it & miss. for me, it takes away that "i just woke up 5 minutes ago" look away from my face.

When I wear foundation, I like the Hard Candy one from Walmart at around $6. I have tried the ELF one, it was ok but I like Hard Candy better.

I love my Hard Candy one! Just keep it somewhere cool and dry or it's consistency will get weird and thick.
