There's AHAs in a lot of different things we use regardless of if we know it or not. I've done enzyme peels & AHA peels and I love either one of them. With Peter Thomas Roth's Pumpkin Enzyme Peel, it REALLY helped with my acne scars in just a few months. :)

I did either peels or microdermabrasion every week while i was in school. That's a little extreme but it was honestly the best my skin had ever looked. As far as peels ago, the type of peel you get is determined by what you're trying to accomplish...for me, i have a lot of pigmentation, so i did fruit acid peels a lot. They're great for getting rid of dark spots. A lactic peel is great for dry skin because it helps with hydration. Salicylic peels are for those with acneic skin. Glycolic peels are great for every skintype. If you want a deeper peel, try a Jessner's. All peels are great for fine lines, sun spots, and exfoliation, but each type put more of a focus on your specific concern.
