Nyx Lipsticks Question

I just bought a lipstick from NYX at IMATS a few days ago, and the color is really pretty and all, but it smells/tastes funny (kinda cheap, like grape?), which is a reason I avoid drugstore lipsticks. Can someone please tell me do they all taste/smell like this, or do they have different scents? I want to know before I go and buy another one :)

No, they don't have different scents. I have several and they all have the same smell/taste, I don't like it either. But to make it better you can put a lip gloss on top that has a smell/taste that you like.

Being honest, I've never noticed the smell/taste of the lipsticks and I have 15 of them, haha. But now that I opened one to smell it, it kinda smells like a wine to me. Weird. But as I said, I don't notice the smell when I put it on my lips.
