I'm not 100% sure of this but it looks like hyperpigmentation, areas with an increased amount of melanin in the skin. Some common causes are sun exposure, medication side effects, and certain illnesses. And it's usually harmless, but if it appeared suddenly or if you have a family history of any kind of skin disorders, I think it would be best to see a dermatologist, just to be sure.

If these randomly appeared then go see your doctor. It might be a skin infection or something similar.

That many spots appearing over a short period of time is most likely not hyper-pigmentation... I would call your doctor or dermatologist and have it looked at, love. Especially if the spots are sensitive and/or itchy. It may even be an allergy.. Good luck!! :)

I had random large dark spots appear on my back after I got married. Scared me to death! I did some tests only to find out the pigment in my DNA in that area was just a bit darker. They went away on their own in about a month.
