I naturally have thin hair already but recently my hair has been falling out like crazy whenever I shower! I don't know why! Any good products to reduce this or make my hair thicker and stronger? Heeeelp.

I have really thin hair too and this has become a problem for me! one thing I got told is to not brush your hair when its wet as that causes hair too fall out and do you use oils or anything in your hair?

I use a hair mask for damaged hair since I dye mine but not often. And when I do use heat tools I spray heat protectant on my hair. But nothing helps.

I'd stop using hair masks as that probably isn't doing it any good. I've tryed not drying my hair and just leaving it do dry which really helps and if you condition your hair just put it on your ends. When does it start falling out like after washing your hair or?

I oftentimes have this problem as well. A few years ago, I had a full blood test and hair analysis done (for medical reasons, not just hair loss), and it was determined that I have a zinc deficiency, which causes hair loss. I'd recommend taking zinc supplements and eating foods high in zinc. It should help a lot.

If you have started taking any new medicines that could be doing it too.

Look into Clear Scalp & Hair Therapy...it's the line Heidi Klum is the spokeswoman for. I've read several reviews that it reduces hair fallout within the first week of use and they also offer a 7-day challenge where by you can return the products if you're not happy with the results. I've been using the moisturizing line (because of scalp issues) and I've noticed significant improvement. I also don't skimp on hair products, I've used Bumble & Bumble for years. But try Clear - it's inexpensive and they back it with a guarantee.

Oh - I also agree with Kelly on this - a zinc supplement will definitely help with your scalp and hair health.

If it is falling out much more than normal hair loss, please see a doctor. Thyroid conditions and other illnesses such as alopecia can cause hair loss. You are probably deficient in b vitamins as well.

People, stop scaring her! It may be just as simple as stress. There's those periods when work and family stress me out a lot so my hair starts falling.

Yeah along with kelly I'd say it's much more likely that it's some sort of vitamin deficiency.

Sometimes hair just falls out when there is a change of season. Like when cats malt. Mine falls out loads in the summer cause its hot and then falls out again in the winter as it gets thicker. Vitamin E might help :)
