I'm TERRIBLE at eyeliner application!

I've watched all the how-to videos I can get my hands on, and I've read all the tutorials with charts etc... And they've helped my general makeup application skills.
HOWEVER, I just can't seem to get my eyeliner to go on smoothly.
For one thing, my eyelashes aren't all in one near row against the edge of my eyelids - I have a few stragglers that are out of line - so dragging my eyeliner brush along the edge of my lid is difficult when I "run over" those guys.
Whatever I do, I can't make it look smooth and neat!

Do you think, if I went to Sephora and asked them to demonstrate the best technique for my eyelids, they would help? I'm a VIB if that helps?
Maybe liquid would be better after all?? I've been using Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner with a Sephora bent eyeliner brush.

Omg don't you just hate those darn hairs that somehow forgot to grow next to their friends! I was having the same issue with smooth liner for this reason. I found that a felt tip liner worked best for me. I have no doubt that if you went into Sephora that they'd be more than happy to help you out! Maybe they'll even point you in the direction of a liner that will work for you. :)))

You have to practice! But I think it is easier to use a eyliner pen!

At first I was too afraid to go with a liquid liner right out of the gate as a beginner, you know?
But in the past couple of days I have started looking at liner pens. You ladies are so helpful!! Thanks to you all! <3

Use Nyx the curve eyeliner it will solve your problem you just can't go wrong with that liner.
