I have dry hair but oily scalp. I get really bad dentrides. anyone has d same problem? I can't switch to different shampoos cuz it causes more flakes. I'm using head and shoulders right now. help!! there were days when my scalp itches soooo bad.

I had the same prob as you and Head and Shoulders did not work at all for me. I talked to my hair stylist about it and she said it will only exacerbate the oily dandruff- it basically covers it instead of clears it away. I switched to Selsun Blue and never looked back! It got rid of that oily layer of dandruff and I have zero flakes. I sound like a commercial, lol. But it works.

I also had this same problem. stop using head and shoulders ASAP, it's like the equivalent of McDonalds for your hair, it's just going to make your scalp dry and itchy. you need to use a shampoo without sulphates. try something like aveda dry remedy. it's kind of on the pricey side but this is your hair and in my opinion worth the investment.

Where can I buy selsun blue?? aveda dry remedy? ill check amazon. thanks for your help. omg my hair is soooo itchy. I shouldnt b washing it everyday but if I don't it itches this bad.
