I had regular acne as a teenager but now that I'm in my mid twenties my acne is worse than it's ever been. I've tried everything but acutane and nothing seems to help. The actual pimples have calmed down a lot but I now have horrible scars all over my cheeks and neck and was wondering if anyone has any tips about getting rid of scars and if facial peels are really that effective. Thank you for your help and suggestions!!

You should ask a dermatologist on the best method for your skin. But facial peel are definitely pretty effective -

I have the same problem I would try a fading cream such as ambi or cliniques fading cream.

It does not on me, I just you a pea size amount and apply it to the affected area. I used to have a Rx for my marks but once I ran out I had to resort to over the counter products but Clinique has a really good skin care line.

A lot of people use vitamin E oil or bio oil. The ambi fading cream comes in different skin types so make sure you get the one fit for your skin.

I'd be way to terrified to use any oil on my face only because I have an oily complexion already and highly sensitive skin, it is good to know I can ask my dr about RX faders tho, thank you so much.

I find vitamin e oil only really works on new scars. I would suggest you go to a dermatologist to get something stronger but if you would like some other options I would suggest you try Mederma. Also coconut oil works amazing for acne scars.
