Ya there mascaras are crap!I never read any recommendations on that.Try L'oreal volumous or Rocket,mally mkup is good also.

My favorites are DollyWink Volume and Long mascara! Better than any other brand I've tried. Also, check out Dior Show mascara- I've heard positive feedback on that one too. =^ ^=

Since you purchased a MAC mascara, I'm guessing you don't mind paying for the pricier mascaras, in which case I recommend either benefit's They're real! or tarte's lights, camera, lashes.

Chanel has some of the best mascaras I have ever tried! I'm not sure exactly what mine is called off the top of my head but its in a black tube. It lengthens and volumizes without all the clumps!

I use illegal lengths first then rocket volume on top... Both by Maybelline. I also really love they're real by benefit. I'll use that with the illegal lengths sometimes.
