Don't match your makeup to your outfit it's tacky..your makeup should compliment your outfit not match it. It sounds like a smoky brown gold would suit her features and gold and purple compliment each other check out Sam C (pixiwoo) vid on Victoria secret makeup she does a great gold smoky there.

I agree with Nara, if she wants a bit of purple in there you could always use a dark purple for contouring and then a pink blush (but you'll need to blend it reaaaallly well and it'll need to be subtle!) I love using a salmony colour, then blending it into a bronze with just a hint of black. Make sure to post what the final look is!!
