I'm getting invisalign Tuesday and was wondering if any of you have had It and what was your experience? Also was wondering, I heard when they take impressions of your teeth it makes you gag, is there something they can so to give you to calm your reflexes before taking impressions?

Relax and breathe through your nose while the impression is in.

I'm twelve and I currently have Invisalign. I had to get three sets of impressions (bottoms and tops) and because I had a few teeth coming in it hurt so bad!:(( I must say, they are a LOT of work. You have to brush with regular toothpaste (obviously!), brush with a special tooth care toothpaste afterwards, bleach your Invisalign every other day, brush them with toothpaste in the morning and in the night, and you must switch out your Invisalign trays quite often. Also, your teeth may be extremely sore from the drastic movement. Owwie! Hope this helps:) XOXO

Thank you! I'm thinking that all that work will be totally worth it in the end! I'm super excited and nervous. I'm totally nervous about the impressions part... I have gag reflex like CRAZY.

It's like the time I had to get my retainer impressions in. My little sister got them too, she had a really hard time breathing, but it wasn't a big deal! It was only in for 45 seconds lol I didn't have a hard time at all
