What do y'all think about wearing red lipstick with a purple dress or sweater? Clash or not?

Red and purple actually go really well together, especially if color blocking. I don't think it would clash at all.

I would do a neutral eye so it doesn't compete with the outfit. Maybe a taupe shadow or light brown. With black or dark brown liner and mascara. When I wear red close to my face, I like to do a nude lip- for me personally I think a red lip is overkill. Or I will do a red tone balm- like baby lips balm by Maybelline. Hope this helps :)
