Hi beauties, you guys think I'm crazy right?? Lol Maybe just a little..but lets be serious for one second. Curling your lashes every day is not good at all. You're straining your lashes & in result they will fall out more & become weak. I remember when I'd curl my lashes because my lashes are long & straight, but I realized that it caused a lot of strain on them & they would fall out more. Same thing if you were to always tie your hair very tightly..your hair will fall out quicker.. You don't want that. If you are going to curl your lashes, limit to curling them twice a week but not more than that. Also, do not put a lot of pressure on your lashes, don't tug or pull on them with the curler. People always ask me what my routine is for taking care of my lashes & I always tell them to not curl their lashes as much so they remain strong. I hope this is helpful to you all. & if you have any questions about taking care of your lashes, let me know! Much love. xo :)

Do you usually curl them when mascara is already on your lashes? Or before?

Hi doll, if I ever do curl them I do it before I apply mascara. If you curl them with mascara on you're more likely to put pressure on them.

Hey. I've noticed that lashes fall out if I've been curling it constantly.I thought it was just me.

Trust me that's the easiest way to lose eyelashes. All that strain & pressure will make the lashes weaker.

That is interesting,I could see that might be the reason if it's tugged to much, but I could also see that mascara could enhance that to happen a lot more.I have to say I disagree about tying your hair up tightly everyday would make your hair fall out quicker because I'm addicted to having my hair up everyday in a tight pony tail to the point if my hair is down I feel a little uncomfortable it's like a strange security to me a everyday all day habit to the extreme lol been like this for years and it becomes a shocker to people that see me with my hair down which is a once a month thing and in my default pics it shows my hair down but trust me after that pic my hair went back up lol but my hair has not fallen out at all.But that's just my experience. :-)

Good thing I've never owned an eyelash curler xD.

I've been curling for years and experienced zero issues. I change the pads on a regular basis and I never curl after mascara application. And I curl just about everyday. I think it boils down to technique...done incorrectly one is looking at damaged lashes.

I agree with you Shelley W. - I've curled my lashes for years and haven't experienced any issues. On a side note, I highly recommend the Shu Uemera eyelash curler :)

I'd rather my lashes be curled and weak than point straight down and strong :) Just my opinion though. Beauty is pain, am I right??
