You probably know this but yes bleach is damaging no matter what. The only way to get your hair back to health after bleaching is using a deep conditioner or masque that would restore damaged hair. And believe me it works! I hope I was a help (:

I've bleached my hair for years and all I can say is a good conditioner will go far I don't no if its because I have good hair or whatever but I've never had and major problems :) I also find that if you blowdry and straighten it when you wash it really makes it softer :)
