I moisturise all the time and my face is nice after I have but when I wake up in the morning it is dry and doesn't feel fresh, and throughout the day my soft healthy- shiny looking skin loses its freshness look and healthy shine/ glow and ends up feeling very dry and lacking in moisture when I feel my skin.

Do you use foundation? It could be clogging your pores and making you dry. Try a water based foundation or a bb cream. At night maybe try putting a night serum on your face and after you cleanse, use a toner, it helps even out the ph balance of your skin and should help the appearance of your skin.

A hydrating serum before your moisturizer at night may help. Or in a night cream that is more rich in moisture. Toner before moisturizer will help balance ph level and help the moisturizer sink into your skin better. It helps sink your moisturizer in your skin 3x better than without.

I agree with shauna and steph! I have dry skin and I began using a serum before my moisturizer at night and it helps so much I can actually feel the product sinking in! Sucks when it just sits at the top of the skin. Sometimes moisturizer sits on top of the skin and doesn't sink in well enough due to an abundance of dead skin cells on the surface. Do you exfoliate? Also, may I ask what your skin type is, what moisturizer do you use and what makeup you wear on your face during the day? As well, do you use any other products along w your moisturizer if so what is the name (s)? Let me know and I can offer some helpful advice! :)
