I love lipstick and I want to be able to wear it without my teeth looking yellow. I tried bright colors on when I didnt have braces and it looked good but now my braces make my teeth look yellow with lipstick on. I already tried brushing my teeth before applying the lipstick but it still looked weird :/ any tips or tricks would be appreciated!

Try whitening your teeth-your dentist should know how to do that for people with braces. Then try a more nude type or light colored lipstick and work your way up to a bright color. Experimentation is probably the best way cuz the way the lipstick looks also depends on your skin tone so I'd experiment

It also depends on what color braces you have. Blue made my teeth look yellower, but purple and pinks made them look white.

I would suggest no whitening your teeth. I have the same problem and I talked to me orthodontist about it and she said that if I did get my teeth whitened now, later when I get my braces off you would be able to see were my teeth didn't get whitened

I had braces for two and a half years and once I started wearing lipstick I found wearing blue based reds and pinks, and having dark blue, turquoise and purple braces made my teeth look whiter. Hope this helps :)
