How can I get my dyed black hair to light brown without frying it?

Impossible. my hair is black and I wanted it light Brown. Girrll I gave it a bleach n the front turned blonde but the back a dark brown red. I then colored it light Brown n throughout the whole process if bleaching it again n giving it a second color it turned reddish orange. I colored it black again lol Good luck. Maybe the salon ca n help oh n on top I had to cut my hair from waist length to shoulder lenght because it messed up my ends :(

You need to color cleanse your hair 1st then deposit the light brown

Go to a salon and have a professional do it for you. They have the knowledge and skill to get it done with minimal damage.
