I suck at doing eyeliner.

I've tried pencil and liquid. I just can't seem to get it right. AND I TRY AND TRY. I've tried smudging and everything! Would gel be a better alternative, or should I try to perfect the pencil liner first?

It helps me if I sketch it out with eyeshadow and a small brush first :)

When I first started to use liquid liner, I would create small dots along where I wanted my liner to be and then I'd connect the dots trying to make a straight line as best as I could. Once you perfect that, making wings will be slightly easier. :)

You should try gel! my favorite is the maybelline eye studio lasting drama gel liner. its amazing.

Maybe try cream eyeliner it's much easier to put on.

I started with a pencil/gel thingy from Maybelline (define-a-line). It's really easy to use! just pull your eyes and do small strokes!!
