I use both...but I have really bad redness I have Rosacea...do one day with the primer and the one day with the concealer and compare what works best for you:)

Green primer covers more space. If you want some cheap stuff get Loreal color correct green primer at target it's only 10$

If it's for a large area, I would use a primer. I use green concealer for acne that's really red. But you're on the right track with the green!
