Anyone know how to do a smokey eye?

I never really do anything extraordinary with my makeup, and I just wanna try something different. I'd like to do a brown smokey eye because my eyes are brown :) any help is appreciated!

If you did want to kinda make your brown eyes standout then do a light color on the lid and a brown in the crease then add just a little bit of black in the crease and outer corner, I have brown eyes and it makes my eyes look supee chocolatey (:
