Do I let it sit in my hair?

Omg yes coconut oil works wonders! Warm it up a bit and massage it all over your head then drown your hair with it. Let it sit for at least 3 hrs. Best if you sleep in it. Then wash it really good after.
Also papaya and plain yogurt is good too.

Mayonnaise worlds good too and helps with dry scalp, put it on before you go to sleep, wrap it up and wash it out the next day if I doesn't come all out with your shampoo you can use a dish soap dawn is the best then get olive oil or coconut oil and let it sit and wash it out it works amazing for softer hair. It is a lot of steps but so worth it in the end.

Olive oil works wonders for my hair, also, you could leave your conditioner you normally use in for a half hour then rinse
