It's all up to you I had a gap and it was ok when I was a kid but as I got older I just didn't think it looked right on me so thankfully I was able to get it closed but ultimately it's your decision :)

I say keep it, it's you and you should rock it!! If there's any ppl out there that don't like it, they can get over it! I think you're beautiful the way you are! 😉

I got mine closed and I regret it sometimes but I do enjoy having straight teeth! My rap teeth weren't straight like yours.

I always had a gap growing up and always hated it. my teeth were straight besides that so my parents wouldn't get me braces and when I was old enough to close it I always let people talk me out of it. my friends and family would always tell me it was cute and that it made me. so several times I made appointments to close it and would cancel. a couple of months ago I made an appointment and told no one! I just went and closed it and I was so nervous that I would miss it and want it back but its never something I liked, it was something other people liked about me. my dentist was extremely nice and showed me what it would look like before I did it and then she did it and I could not be happier!! when I showed my parents I didnt say anything and my mom immediately noticed. my mom teared up bc she said she loved it and would miss it but she was happy if I was. my dad told me it looked great and my little brother said I was smiling too much and was creeping him out. lol but I could not stop smiling and I wish I would have closed it years ago. I love my new smile so much. and my gap wasnt even something I was self conscience about. I just felt my smile could use a little improvement. I don't think your gap looks bad at all. You are beautiful but if you have been considering closing it, I say go for it! I could not be happier with my smile now! sorry for such a long story but I really identify with your gap haha. I never ever heard negative comments about my gap, I closed it for myself and with any kind of enhancement you ever do it should always be for yourself. if you do it for other people, you will probably regret it.

You should do what makes you happy and makes you feel confident. But you look pretty and a lot of models have gaps and such.

I love plus size!! I am plus size too and wouldn't have it no other way. I say love the skin you're in. its not what we think, its what you think!! my bf got something similar to gastric bypass and it was a waste of time and money cause she didn't adopt dieting as a lifestyle. I have a big nose, girl I will contour that thang in a minute lol.

I have a gap too! Used to HATE it to the point I wouldnt smile with my teeth showing. That was until I saw Anna Paquin, Sookie on True Blood. She is gorgeous. Now I don't care so much Lol.

My Grandmother had a gap and wanted to close it and my grandfather convinced her not to because he loved it on her. My sister inherited it and I am so jealous! I think it's absolutely adorable! ❤

Thank you ladies for the nice comments :) I think I will give myself some time to think it over after the big surgery. I guess the reason I have a love hate relationship with it is the fact that my gap was one of the reasons I was picked on a lot in school ( imagine going to class and everyone says field goal when you smile) but I love it because it makes my face unique. Thank you all for you assistance. :)
