I like it! Don't ever be afraid! You are very pretty! The thing is that there are different shades of red, bright reds.. Jeweled reds! Don't be afraid to experiment to find a shade that you like and that you feel comfortable in. I feel uncomfortable in bright lip sticks, I have a neutral brown, a pink, and a jeweled red that I stick too.

The red lips go really well with that dress but if you were wearing something else you could try a different shade of red =] suits you though, you have fantastic white teeth!! =]

@emma t- it's an NYX jumbo lip pencil. I love them! They're so creamy and go on easily. I'll have to double check the specific color tomorrow! It's either Pure Red or Hot Red, I think.

You're really gorgeous! I use to shy away from lipsticks that were really bold too but now I can't leave the house without it. If you're more on the fence about it, try doing a stain or a gloss and slowly transition into a full blown out red. I started off with doing a really bright coral by dabbing it only at the center of my lip and blending away. I slowly transitioned into other colors. If you don't feel too confident about it, slowly get into it. You look really pretty with it though :)

@Emily P. Very well said about the fishing for compliments thing...I've stopped posting things as far as asking for advice on my makeup because everyone started a big scene about how I just wanted compliments...I'm 21 years old and like you color shy and had just started using a fuschia lip color and trying to add color to my eyes and just wanted advice on if it looked ok and if not how I could properly add color to my makeup without looking bad.
Anyways enough with my ranting haha the red lip sick looks amazing on you, we have similar skin tones and am not considering trying a red since it looks so amazing on you:)
