So a while ago I got short layers, which makes it hard to do side braids and sock buns (I never really liked the sock bun trend anyways, but it agrivates me that I can't learn to do one). I have naturally wavy hair. its kinda frizzy, but the frizz more looks like flyaways. its terribly dyed brown until I can fix it. Any suggestions on styles I could try instsad of always having it in a messy bun?

Messy buns are great! Why not try high/side ponytail or get some nice hair bands!

You can get your hair damp and the towel dry it a little (not all the way dry) and flip your hair over and put some mousse in your hand and scrunch handfuls of your hair and put some hairspray in and flip your hair back over ad let it air dry :) them you can just leave it down or do pony tails or buns or anything :)

You can still do sock buns! Just leave some of the sock unrolled when your pull it over the pony tail and then start rolling your hair on the donut part and as you roll your hair up roll the rest of the sock up too! The extra sock will hold the shorter layers in place while you do the longer parts!
