Elf brushes are pretty decent quality. I feel like they shed a lot. If you can chip in a few extra bucks, sigma brushes are affordable, and has the quality of Mac brushes. Same with real technique brushes and ecotools. Sigma you can buy on their online site; real techniques and ecotools and as well as soho too, can all be found at Walmart. And target too I believe.

I don't know why but the quality of elf foundation brush is lower.. I bought another one last week and it's a big difference, and I know they are very good because I had another one.

Mada I noticed that to! It seems more flimsy not as dense

If you buy elf brushes make sure it's BLACK handled not the white ones! But if you don't trust Elf at all lol get Real Techniques you can get them at Ulta for like 7-9.99 a brush, or a set for about $20!

Real Techniques brushes really can't be beat, imo. They're synthetic (cruelty-free for those who care, don't absorb as much liquid product for those who don't), sturdy, don't shed, soft as hell, keep their shape, and are really really affordable!
