So I'm new at curling my hair using a wand. I can do my left side really good but for some reason my right side turns out terrible :/ any advice or tips? :)

I had a similar problem, I kept practicing & practicing until it became easier. That's all I can really tell you from my experience! I know it's not much but I hope it makes a difference!

I'm not sure if this will work for you, but.. for doing the left side of my hair, I use my right hand to hold the wand and have my arm over my head and curl away from my face. Same thing but opposite for the other side. :) Hope that helps!

When curling my left side I hold the wand in my right hand. so while doing my right side should I hold the wand in my left hand?

You are supposed to hold the hair with the same side you curl... Ex. Right side of head, hold hair with right arm. I never had a prob I learned from youtube she said thst was the key.

So use my right hand to hold the wand for both sides?

It depends which way the curls are going. It's going to be easier to curl one way with one hand and vide versa with the other. But honestly two hands are key, why even try stuffing it up?!
I always do curls away from my face and I use the opposite hand cause its going to be easier to turn my left arm towards my body rather than my right arm away from it when curling the right hand side for example. Your arm/hand should naturally follow the direction you wish the curl to be going in.
Does that make sense?
