Anyone who has acne prone skin I recommend the neutrogena skin clearing foundation. There color range is pretty neutral and goes to super pale. Anyone I have used this on says their skin clears up after a couple uses. I love it better than any high end brand. Only thing is that it is a little matte but not drying at all. It gives light to medium coverage and is build able.

Clinique is pretty good and not too expensive, prob in $18-$25 range, otherwise drugstore brand I would go for neutrogena healthy skin
