Is it true that you can use elmers glue as a peel off facial mask??

It removes dead skin but it isn't going to do much aside from that.

I tried but it wouldn't peel off, I just ended up washing it off and then broke out.

I've used Elmer's glue and toilet paper to create prosthetic wounds before. When peeling it off it gets caught on the very fine hairs on your face and hurts. I wouldn't slather it on my face if I didn't have to; smell is awful and it doesn't have any benefits that a good scrub with a sponge doesn't have.

I've never heard of it being used as a face mask but it can be used as a pore strip.
