How can I stop my nails from snapping when I grow them? They keep snapping off :(

My sister had the same problem I told her to just keep cutting them short for a month or so and it will help strengthen them so when you grow them out they should be nice and strong (:

I've tried just cutting them but I have naturally thin nails :(

Put some chopped garlic in a clear nail polish and let it set for 5 days, it will make your nails stronger
