I have naturally straight hair and its really difficult to style it. I have tried braiding my hair and sleeping in it but that doesn't come out looking like beach waves. Does anyone have any advice on how to get good beach waves?

Use curlers! They work great on me! Watch Stilababe09 videos on how to do it :)

Same here its hard to have beachy waves with straight hair. until I start using sea salt spray! just spray on your hair and then try small braids but I normally section my hair in small knots and clip them away until it dries.

You could also try two buns (princess leia style) with a bit of mousse at night. Once you unwrap them you should have nice waves.

Try using Bumble & Bumble Texture Hair (Un) Dressing Creme!!
When you wash your hair, towel-dry it, then run a bit of the Creme through your hair, scrunch it, tousle it, and you're done!

I had the same problem but I can't braid mine still to short but I found this product that is amazing for the beach look its called kinked by got2b (it's in a orange and pink bottle) all you do is put it on damp hair and it really doesn't feel like there is any product in your hair!! I love this product!!
