I love bare minerals. The only time I noticed the bristles were falling was when I was applying it to hard to my face. But mine haven't gotten flat yet since I don't wear it often

I had a set and they were shedding left and right. I ended up having to return them. I'm sure I just received a defective set since others experienced the opposite.

Wash them with shampoo it should help from having the bristles fall out.

I'm a bare minerals devotee but I hate those brushes. I much prefer some much softer, synthetic brushes I got from Ulta.

I work with bare minerals along with a few other brands and their brushes are the ones that have completely fallen apart. The hairs she'd like crazy and you can completely remove them all from the barrel pretty easily. But honestly that's because we don't take as good of care of them as we should and they get used the most. If you wash them pretty frequently they'll last longer. Just make sure not to get any water in the barrel since that's where the glue is.

I can't stand the flawless face brushes! Their concealer/kabuki brushes are great though :)

Hi Victoria,
The Bare Minerals Brushes are natural fiber brushes that are a bit rough to break up the minerals when applying the products. They are also hand crafted with extra bristles so that it leaves room for some to fall out (it is normal). I usually apply mine before getting dressed or I use the Beauty Blender or their new Precision Foundation Brush (synthetic fibers) that they made for their READY line but also works well with the original and the matte. Make sure to wash your brushes with a brush shampoo once every 2 weeks and they should last at least a year or so.
I hope that helps!

I do love the Precision face brush. And the Heavenly face brush. Wish they lasted longer than a year.
