I painted my toes yesterday night, and just now I chipped away the extra on the sides of my toes and the whole nail polish on my toenail came off. Like it peeled off. How can I get it to stay on? :(

Less layers.I paint a lot of layers so tht I can peel it off at the end of the day hehe.

Try using a top coat, they are designed to help nail polish stay put.

Yes fewer and thinner layers will help. Also make sure each layer is completely dry before the next if possible.

Use a base! Then apply two coats of your nail color/s then use a top coat and I use a no chip top coat also!

It could be the brand you are using. some brands have a rubbery texture and have trouble sticking to your nails. I suggest trying final finish, pure ice, opi, china glaze, and sally Hansen's. if you don't think it is the brand try using a top coat.

I used a matte top coat, but no base coat. I'm going to try it again and see how it holds up.

Always use a base coat otherwise the nail polish can stain your nails. But I agree with everything above.

Lightly buff your nails and do a final swipe of polish remover before painting.
