I need a top coat to help my nail polish stay in tact for more than a couple of days. Is seche vite really any good? Any tips on using it?

Amaze! Using it in the salon... I love using it and my clients love the finish and the lasting of the polish :)

It's seriously my favorite top coat. I've tried using other ones like Poshe and a few from Sally Hansen but nothing beats the smoothing effects of seche along with its dry speed. And it's seriously the best top coat for adhering nail art jewels and such!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I love it!! Make sure you drag the too cost over the tips to prevent shrinkage and get some Seche restore if you plan on using the whole bottle as it thickens up about half way through :)

I personally was disappointed with it in yearns of making my polish last. It is really good for speed dry, and quick out the door manicures, but I think it actually changes the consistency of polish. Its hard to describe, but it seems to make the polish underneath more brittle...like glass. I never see my mani last more than a day with this product...it seems like with no topcoat my polish lasts longer. I want to try a few other topcoat, like China Glaze Fast Forward. I will post my results with it soon.

Thanks everyone, seems like mixed reviews...I would be interested in how you get on with the other top coats Mia. I was wondering if anyone knows - with Seche, am I right that you apply it when the polish underneath is still wet? And if so, what should I do if I'm doing a nail art design and some of it has dried or is acrylic paint?

Yes, Seche is meant to be applied over wet polish because it meant to cure all the layers of lacquer...but you need to wait at least two min. in between polish coats, and a least 5 minutes before the Seche goes on. I have found it takes about a half an hour before all coats including the Seche is set rock hard.

Same goes for nail art, just wait a few minutes before the Seche or it will smear.

Seche Vite is good, people ask if it's a gel manicure all the time on me. I won't repurchase because any polish which requires you to use a thinner is too much hard work and money.
Last week with the Seche Restore I got through my manicure, this week I only got my left hand done then had to put more Restore in.
