The fastest way to get rid of dry skin for me is using cortizon 10.

A honey and sugar exfoliant is beautiful. Be sure to apply moisturizer within 3 minutes of wetting the skin. Toners help to draw in moisture, so it may help to lightly tone the face before applying a moisturizer. Look for a product containing sodium hyaluronate. Sodium hyaluronate is very hydrating and holds 1,000x it's weight in moisture! Oils are ever more beneficial! Oils that have an equal PH with the skin (like Sunflower, Jojoba, or Olive oils) will help to balance the skin.

Try exfoliating a few times a week, and follow up with a cream moisturizer. Exfoliating will get rid of all that dry dead skin so your makeup will look loads better!

Good call on the moisture surge Debbie! I had forgotten about that. I used to use it all the time and I loved it!
