When should I use setting spray and when should I use setting powder?? Should I use both?

I've used both a few times. powder, then spray. But I would think you only really need just one or the other.

Only powder on oily days. Spray on normal days. Both maybe for a long busy day?

Use setting powder after your foundation, and then setting spray. I also heard a good method of making your makeup last longer is spraying both before AND after makeup.

Should I use setting spray as primer??

I use both. 2 different powders on top of my foundation & concealer then setting spray to "melt" everything together. The setting spray makes everything stay in place & takes away the cakiness. I sometimes also spray my ELF setting spray on my face before I put makeup on & use my Model In A Bottle or Urban Decay All Nighter at the end.
